It is 2:58 in the morning on a Thursday.
Yesterday, I came back from my first career fair (NatureJobs Career Expo). I was totally exhausted by the end of the day, slept for 6 hours and am up wide awake with thoughts and ideas provoked by the event. I felt burning urge to write.
I am approaching near the end of long academic training. I knew that I will need to make important decisions in life soon. But I had been putting off thoughts, partly because I do not have firm deadline (I am currently in academic research position), and partly because I feared to confront my own insecurity.
I am currently filled with new perspectives and ideas on strategies that I did not possess two days ago. I believe that this will continue until I get that dream job, and the next dream job and on. I believe that writing has power to clarify thoughts and crystalize important life lessons, and help others who might be wearing same shoes, and who will be. In the past, I obtained several heartwarming feedbacks from friends about my writing on reporting/reviewing events. I wish that this blog will be fun and useful.
